The Origin of Urbanitae

Today it houses a large hotel, but for years the Edificio España was unused. Like so many other people, Diego Bestard passed by it every day, imagining that if each passer-by invested a few euros, together they could buy the building to put it into operation...

Thus, Urbanitae was born in 2017 with a clear vision: to open the real estate market to any investor, removing barriers to access. In 2019, with the CNMV license, we financed our first project, and since then we have grown exponentially. In 2024 alone, we increased our financing figure by 50%, which consolidates us with a market share of around 60%.

Commitment to Transparency

At Urbanitae, transparency is key. Before being published on the platform, each project must pass the unanimous vote of our investment committee twice, which includes independent experts.
