Urbanitae focuses on unique opportunities for investors

Since our creation, at Urbanitae we have been focused on offering you exclusive investment opportunities. Our raison d'être, democratising real estate investment, is based on just that: putting within your reach possibilities that were previously reserved for only a few. That anyone can invest in real estate as professionals do and achieve the best combination of profitability and risk in the market.

Now, we are going one step further and giving back more than just dividends to the community. Therefore, we announce that we are the main sponsor of the musical The Phantom of the Opera. By supporting a cultural initiative we want to thank the thousands of investors who have made Urbanitae the leading real estate crowdfunding platform in Spain for their trust. And bring the most successful musical in history to everyone.

Excellence and differential experience

This first step in cultural sponsorship maintains the groundbreaking essence of Urbanitae. The adaptation of the musical that arrives in Spain in October, directed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Antonio Banderas, is completely new with respect to the original work. Thus, after almost four decades of uninterrupted career on Broadway, The Phantom of the Opera combines the excellence and the differential experience that characterise Urbanitae's collaborative investment model.

It is this disruptive approach that has allowed the reach of real estate investment to expand to unprecedented heights. Thanks to Urbanitae's real estate crowdfunding, for example, more than 1,500 people became owners of a residential building in the heart of the Salamanca district last December. This is the Narváez Project, which raised 5 million euros to completely refurbish the building for its subsequent sale.

Similarly, more than 1,000 people contributed the 3 million euros needed to complete the refurbishment of one of the most exclusive homes in Spain. Located in La Moraleja, the Casa de la Cascada is valued at more than 18 million euros; it has more than 2,800 square metres and a plot of more than 10,300 square metres. With a minimum investment of 500 euros, hundreds were able to get their hands on a piece of this mansion.

Emblem of the city of Madrid

By supporting the musical The Phantom of the Opera, Urbanitae is underlining its role as an agent of change, promoting the development of new housing throughout Spain and renovating emblematic areas in cities such as Madrid. In this city alone we have developed 28 projects, worth more than 39 million euros. And accommodating more than 17,000 investments.

As main sponsor of the musical, we would also like to thank our investors for the trust they have placed in us. Therefore, users who are part of the Urbanitae investor community will have exclusive access to special discounts and other advantages linked to the show that opens on 4 October in Spain.
